What I secretly do at night...shhhh

My week kinda goes like this..
work some days at Barbara Jeans Furniture Mall... other days (nights & mornings pr, sales training, networking training yadda yadda ...and couponing, and all my other activities...okay...so what do I do secretly....right now I am braiding rugs...

I LOVE INTERIOR DESIGN...fashion design, Image consulting, yadda yadda.. BUT I only like useful things... so if I am working on a project as I am gearing up to remodel my entire house... Everything has to be just so.. so when my projects are done it is like this is unbelievable... so this year ...I am sewing for fun and to go pro...if you are going to do it you might as well go all the way..More like semi-pro but being in the Interior design biz... this will definitely come in handy... Thus... I am hoping that my sewing projects as this one will be will be geared towards interior design and I will make tons of practice things which my friends will all scarf up ...or be donated...but ... at the end of the day it will be so much fun to see. I do spend a lot of time praying...I learned from the best...My dad multiple businesses...International biz man...and inventor yadda yadda... I said Daddy , how did you learn to do printing (0ne of his companies) he said ... I prayed and the Lord showed me how. ME TOO! so ...right now I am hoping to do my home country/primative- but wealth...not home made... so I am going to learn to fly with the pros and wear out my prayer bones so at the end of the day I can say look at the house God taught us how to build. ....

I raise chickens...and Clay built all of our trim work and kitchen etc...very nice so together we will be a great partnership. Once I master the braided rugs I will possibly get some great materials to make these with and hopefully they will be spectacular. I do it because like God I love beautiful things.... Pray for me that I get creative ideas and run into strategic meetings with the right people at the right time that can help me in my efforts. I have no health insurance this is what I did to get my meds.

I have no health insurance for a season due to my recent divorce. Problem...allergies and allergies to medicines. Result- at min. there are 3 prescriptions I have to have and can't go without which results in about 700 a month and then... that is only three of the drugs.Of course I am praying for healing..but we all know Jesus is the great physician so I keep believing..All said I prayed about this. And here are some tips I learned so far.. SHOP the pharmacies.. Rite Aid was cheaper for me than Kinneys or Walgreens. Call the Drug Companies and ask for discount cards or if they have a program or free samples.I got a $55.00 off my one prescription Achiphex which is around 300.00 a month . Another one my doctor was able to get me some samples and a free prescription for one month. ASK your doctor for FREE samples. I have talked to people and some doctors won't see drug reps and others will ..so talk to your doctor about this he may decide to see the rep for you. Also You can purchase drugs by the week with some pharmacies if you have no insurance. The best advice I can give is PRAY for healing and Speak up and ask your friends you have not because you ask not. Also I strongly encourage you NOT to go off your prescriptions if YOU can't afford them. I tried this and the result was I just laid in the bed sicker than a dog and said why did I do this to myself again. Mainly because I had already prayed this through and God is allowing me to go through this Even Hezekiah in the Bible God told him to go eat a plant for healing (medicine) and when I prayed about it I felt NO CONDEMNATION..for taking the medications. So there you have it and a little Bible knowledge too.. Saw a sign of spring!

Having my first signs of spring here....My Silkie hen has been broody for the past two weeks. I had never seen a broody hen before so it was strange. She was just limp and wanted to stay in the nest all the time. I didn't know that when they get broody they also stop laying eggs. So my sweet little Hen would find other eggs and sit on them. Today I put 5 eggs under her.
4 Leghorn eggs and One from my black hen which had a brown egg. Clay showed me how to introduce eggs to her. What you do is put them outside the hen and she would nudge and position them under her. So she would poke at it with her beak and push it under her. She didn't seem to want to take the brown egg but she did. Now she seems all happy in her little nest. We did take some extra hay and left it outside her nest just incase she wanted some more.


We also put on the wall some nesting boxes for our Pigeons. We had some new pigeons and wanted them to have a nice spot to lay their eggs. I noticed that a pair found a one and started their little home. We are using some wash basins that we bought at Walmart for about $2.00. We put a little hay in them to get them started.

Jelly Belly phoned me today and we are discussing doing some promoting for them. I love Jelly beans and so I thought this would be a great product to share with all of you. You will hear more if they send me some products to share with you. I make a fantastic Popcorn cake that I will make with the Jelly Beans as well.

I also talked to a very nice girl from Pampered Chef...You know I have never heard of anyone not loving being in Pampered Chef. Great little company. I am hoping to promo this to you all as well.

I have been pushing my blog http://www.RuthiesCouponChannel.blogspot.com lately. I want to help teach others how to save big at the Grocery Store. I am becoming a Extreme Couponer and trust me this is sooo addicting... but I am keeping the reigns on this..as this is so much fun I could literally go shopping everyday it is like everything is free you have to watch this entire blog to see what this is about but trust me it will make you so much extra cash it is worth every second...

My son came home from college today. This child is making his momma proud. He is a graphic designer and is top in his class. What more can a mother ask for. Trully He is a blessing from the Lord.

I was having so much fun today meeting so many great people on twitter it wasn't funny. My twitter address is @R47R I have about 11,000 followers there. I haven't even ran around talking to everyone on social media today... I didn't even pop my head out but for maybe a second on facebook.. although I had been watching as usual a ton of You tubes today... I say You tube has the answer for everything :) I do have several You tube channels.. ruthieTalk being one.. Okay..

My son and I went Christmas shopping.

Finally my son and I enjoyed a day of Christmas Shopping ... With college, driving, working at the backyard farm, etc... we haven't had a day to just shop. It was really nice. We ate at Arby's and looked at video games, and clothes, etc.. and then we thought we'd goof around and take a few pictures. Russell will be gone this week for school but we will have 3 weeks together starting next week.

How is everyone doing?

Hi everyone... Well,this blog is about my life. My friend ChrisVoss (@ChrisVoss on twitter ) and host of theChrisVossshow.com told me my blog was shooting out some wrong dates... so I wanted to thank Chris for letting me know this and I fixed this. Sometimes as a blogger you can prepost which is really nice if you find something you want to share at a later date for some reason. So today you will get lots of posts from me as I just updated everything from today on and won't be preposting anymore as it seems to be a glitch with blogger.

Go ahead and listen to the music above as you read my blog. Anytime you read my blog take advantage of the music I put on here for you all. Some of you know I am a Spirit-filled, tongue talking Holy Ghost filled born again Christian. I am very bold about my faith is that is what makes me the woman I am today. What you see is what you get with me. So I am pretty open about everything in my life. I will be writing about this at times so you will get a real close look at who I am as a person in this blog. In the past there were people that were pounding my door to find out what I was doing as I have always been a top leader and performer... well, the joke is on them... as all you have to do is pray and obey. I used to work for Danny and Debbie Maynard owners of prodigalz.com a national-intermational ministry to motorcyclist. When I worked for the Maynards they were in Syracuse New York pastoring the Church of God and I was Evangelist Danny Maynard's personal secretary. Also I was the district secretary for the Church of God. I also grew up at Bible School as my parents brought their printing company to train the students there. My Dad was a top engineer and had such great companies as Pepsico seek him out to work for them, but he had a heart for the Lord so he did both. I have been involved in ministry teaching every grade level including Women's groups. When I got into business myself sometimes I would speak for woman's groups as well. Which I still am willing to do anytime I am asked via Skype, Utube, etc.. In the future...really as I have some personal things I am working on right now. I am one of "THOSE" who has had too much in God to deny my faith. I am the real mcCoy and very vocal about the Lord. Seen lots of miracles, etc.. and don't be surprised to see me in church raising my hands and dancing before the Lord, I have a lot to be thankful for the half has not been told.

Right now I am engaged hoping to marry within the year. My fiance is Clay Sweet. I have a son Russell Appleby Jr who is going to school for Graphic Design and will be getting into advertising ...hmmm wonder where this apple came from hee...heee.. He will be 20 next month. He also is a gifted rapper, but these days I can't get him to rap a rap if I paid him...well maybe if I paid him.

My "job' right now is taking care of my college kid...I am his wheels to school, taking care of my mother, and helping my fiance Clay... He has lots of work... works full time and has a small farm that I help with. It was trully a miracle we met... but God supplies and shows Himself great on my behalf. Clay is a great comfort to me. He has stepped to the plate and is a testimony of what God intends for a man. I am looking forward to being a strong couple and as a strong woman it is encouraging to meet my equal... yet he is so much stronger. I think often of dave and Joyce Meyers with us. He being Dave me being Joyce.. he is letting me be me...yet not taking any of my shortcomings but helping me to step to the plate. I can see in 5 years a great work to help others in us, and the Lord is doing things already.


Couponing! Well... I am going all out and working on becoming one of the coupon girls we hear and read about. I have a blog CouponswithRuthie.blogspot.com you will want to check this out. I am learning the art of this. It is involved... Here are some basics... buy 6-10 newspapers a week. Only buy what you need. it's all about stock piling and following the sales in the stores... It works much like a downline... you start off slow and keep building ... and in the end your groceries are free...and even your papers.. pretty interesting... you should save THOUSANDS a year. Doing research on this.. What is the difference if you earn money or save it.. .Coupons R MONEY... that is the KEY...

so that is what is going on with me... how about you ..make this blog interactive and share about yourself and I hope you all network with each other...as I meet people for a living... I am like God there I just LOVE PEOPLE ...all colors, shapes, sizes, situations... I LOVE YOU XXOO.

Chickens to train?

I own chickens and thought I you would enjoy this.

Thanksgiving was great. This was my first thanksgiving with my new family. I love them and they have totally accepted me and my son and I feel great. We had turkey, popcorn cake, cheese cake, etc...

Today I will be visiting my mom and sister. At this time of year make sure you take lots and lots of time for family. They grew up too fast and everyone has lives so I cherish every moment I can spend with those I love.

How to make homemade candles

I used to sell partylite candles and made number one in our little group... I thought it would be cool to make my own candles, I am crafting through the winter... then will be working on getting my eggs ready in incubators... tada..spring and planting my garden, etc..

but for this week I am working hard on getting the thanksgiving dinner done...and cleaning house for the guests, christmas shopping etc.. I have some shopping to do about a hour away so in about a hour I will be ramming the roads and then back to cleaning the house...going out for dinner tonight with my fiance' for Chineese and then cooking and hopefully the cleaning will be over. I did decide to wall paper so I have a bit of a mess so hopefully by christmas that project will be over. so that is what is up with me today... and....

I am making blogs all over to organize myself so example all my recipes are in one spot. All my crafting, etc... I am loving it.. this blog is like a journal of my daily life..and if you want to know how a top performer lives then this one is definitely for YOU! You see all my activities will bring me in mega contacts to sell to if and when I get back into sales and it is just good to always be friendly and people really love to get to know you personally if they are working with you it is just wise.

this week too I am looking into getting free stuff, contests, etc.. to blog about and to share with my readers. You will hear more about this from me. so I am spending lots of time writing to companies asking them about product reviews you will hear more about this. My thought is ...go for the products you really want to buy in the future so you don't just have a bunch of JUNK sitting around...sometimes you may want to try something just to see if it is of interest but do be practical.

Guess what is for dinner?

Okay... right now as I am blogging I am making shake and bake... broccoli and rice... the good news is that I have gone down... 8 sizes! Now that shows you what a bad marriage can do for you! have always been a 5 but I got up into a size 20 and for me that was quite a bit... so the good news is I am now a 12... you know what they say wrinkled face or fat fanny... but I do want to get a little smaller to feel healthy...


I really think it was the stress too that was packing on the pounds..not even over eatting just the constant upset stomach... Wow! So candid ... but I am sure there are other women out there that this may encourage..

so here is a big hug for all today and don't be so hard on yourself... prayer does wonders!

Getting jiggy with it...

When you are in the middle and don't know the outcome of what God is doing...everything seems crazy... you are in the jiggy spot...

So getting jiggy with it, means...You start praising God like Abraham did when he was in the middle spot...couldn't see the end result so He just praised God until the answer came...When you are in that spot...get jiggy with it, and do the same thing.

getting ready for thanksgiving and snowglobe

I thought everyone would enjoy learning how to make a snowglobe... maybe even a fun project for the kids to do during thanksgiving break. ...Canada made the biggest snowglobe... two stories high and 20 feet wide.

Well, here is what is going on in my live..after all this blog is about my life :) ... I am living on a 1/2 farm and we are discussing bringing some more animals here for the spring.. geese, turkeys, laying hens, rabbits, etc.. so I am trying to learn as much as I can about all of these. My mentor knows tons so I have a good teacher to show me the way.

I also have been frantically cleaning the house... I don't know why but I was just exhausted last week.. I think it was that I got off my schedule and kept waking up at2 in the morning. I usually wake up at 4 am and go to bed at 8 pm and it works out nicely. Plus I tore apart the house for wallpapering ... bad idea should have only done one room at a time.

I am also making a beautiful afghan in the zigzag pattern if you like to crochet you can read my blog http://www.CrochetingWithRuthie.blogspot.com I love the net and social media and all the things I am learning. I figure the net is here to stay so why not organize myself, and this is exactly what I am doing these days. I am making like networks/Channels etc.. for myself... Example one is on crafts, one is on farming, etc.. and then dividing them up into blogs ...some are business, some are fun.. then all my stuff is in one area. If you are following me around on the net you will see better what I am doing and I will talk about it more with you. So example I want a recipe ... wa la ... I just pull up my blog on Cooking which I believe is CookingWithRuthie.blogspot.com and it is all there right on the net and I don't have to keep a bunch of recipe books, etc.. and people that are reading my blog may give me additional information.. of course everything is open and public for all to read so it also helps me build my network so anything I enjoy doing in life I can just make a blog on and keep building and build from that etc.. It is a lot of fun and I cannot begin to tell you how much this is organizing me... The great thing is once it is on the net it will be there forever and just think I won't have to go around chasing looking for books, etc..

okay, so that is what is going on with me... any news about you , please share and do subscribe to my blog here .. this is my main blog.. like a diary and I hope to write here more often now that things are settling down after my move.. and yes.. you never know what you will see here.

What is going on with Ruthie?

Hi everyone ... just more updates for you all...well everyone on the net saw me go through my divorce meet the love of my life and many of you have known me for years through business or church work, etc... I will be getting married to Clay Sweet so I am changing as many accounts as possible to Ruthie Sweet but will probably always keep my other names Ruthie Appleby and Yingst since so many people know me by those names.

I also want to keep sharing with everyone all the great things that are going on... as the Lord leads to encourage and as you all encourage me as well. Social Media is a strong force and God is using it and I thank him for it.

I won't be deleting old accounts just adding new ones so people can find me who I meet etc..
I am also making lots of blogs to organize myself and if you have a interest go ahead and subscribe ... the net is so great I figure as I learn about the things I love I can just keep adding to them.

Many of you the strong faith I have as a Christian. Divorce is very hard and marriage troubles even worse... the divorce is the easy part pulling the toothache so to speak and getting healed and relief the marriage trouble is the pain. My husband did commit adultry repeatly on me and it is not true that it takes two...the Bible doesn't teach that. Jesus said people get a divorce for a Hard heart ... I am going to do what I am going to do and too bad for you... well this time around after much prayer I knew that was the direction of the Lord as no repentenance ever and to be able to move forward with my life. The healing has started and I am not angry just disappointed in people but that is life and as Christians we press on and trust the Lord. I stopped asking God the Whys and just snuggle up to him. God is faithful as always and brought Clay Sweet into my life.

All this said I have been kind of just been sorting through a lot of stuff and the Lord has been at work in me. I really want to be the person that I know God has called me to be and I hope that you all see and pray for me as I work in that direction. At the end of the day.. the end result is anything you do apart from Christ is just wasted so I am snuggling close to Him now and going with his direction for my life. Please pray for me and subscribe to my blog and encourage me and I hope I can encourage you as well. I don't think it is a accident we met or that you are reading my blog... Watch my life and see what God is doing with me and share here what you feel God is speaking to you about and let's all just connect here as really social media is everything on the net.

I did use a egg I collected from my own chickens for the batter. Been expanding my horizons lately and becoming more domesticated and as a woman I love it!

More of what is going on with me ... there was such a need for so many of my friends to learn how to promote their businesses careers , etc... I decided to go the route of writing a blog...almost like a continuous mentoring and class for everyone ...http://www.RuthieTalksTopPerformance.blogspot.com I have had a massage private email in the past that people would be dying to be able to be a part of had a big email newsletter in the past, owned a social network had a paid blog ...which I felt wasn't helping my friends as they couldn't duplicate it...face it ...the first 5 years you need to invest every dime in your biz and some people to squeeze a extra $30 a year was more then some...would want especially little momma's doing direct sales... but mom's - billionnaires all can benefit and we are all celebrities in God's eyes.

so take advantage of this... It will change your biz and I will share good contacts, leads sites, etc.. that some won't because I am not selling a thing right now and I have been there and back and know that for me right now it is a smart thing to share all I know so I am doing just that. ...many won't share because it will cost them money to share or let's face it ... people pay thousands of dollars for this information so again ck out that blog http://www.RuthieTalksTalkPerformance and get a buddy it is always good to work with a friend on stuff or do it alone your choice...

Hi Everyone update about ME :)

Hi all -

Since this blog is about me and my everyday life I just wanted to give everyone some updates and of course I hope you all subscribe and share my blog with other people so they subscribe as well

First of all jumping up and down... I am ENGAGED ... To my Clay Sweet. He floored me and I was so surprised. We had been talking about getting married ...but I didn't expect him to surprise me for my birthday...actually it was the day before my birthday. My son adores him and I learned that God gives us BRAND NEW STARTS and doesn't REDO US... no make overs for us folks..

My son is in the top of his class in Graphic Designs and I am sooo proud of him.
He just came back from Manhattan and loved it and said Mom, I wouldn't mind moving there. He spent some time in Time Square at the Museums, etc...

I am the proud mother of 2 eggs... haa...which we promptly cooked and eatten... Clay bought Laying chickens and is a good teacher and is teaching me how to be a good chicken farmer's wife.

I have given my heart to crafting and learning to be a good women and domesticating myself some more... Doing a lot of cooking, crafting, cleaning and farming. I love it... It is so funny me... a business women since I was a teen owning multiple businesses to settling down. Loving every minute of it.

Right now I am spending a lot of time blogging looking up cleaning, cooking, crafting, all the good lady stuff... as well as sharing business stuff through various blogs. I am going to keep this as my main blog since I have had it so long. I really haven't pushed this site as I was running around doing so much social media activities and owned my own social media network. But you know my thoughts on paying for stuff and when ning changed to pay... I said no... A blog, can be interactive too ...so if people want to contact me they can just write to me in the comments and ask questions etc..if they really need to speak to me face to face or a phone call they can ask for that right here too. Let's face it folks it is all social media these days ... what is the difference? Anyway... I will check in my blog comments and also please help me out by helping me get more subscribers and let's keep this blog interactive okay?

I can add features... I don't mind paying for things but unless you are making money why do it... unless it is a fun hobby. If my fans want me to do donations to do more we can always talk about that too. Just to add more features. Anyway...

Morning everyone...and I haven't even drank my coffee...yet... Okay..besides from the normal screwing around on my blog...hey that's how you learn...I am trying to be a bit more concerned about my content these days...after all..even though I only have 122 followers on my blog... Got my beautiful son off to college, moved into a new place, hoping to get my divorce finalized and he's on girlfriend number 2 that I know of..and of course...no hard feelings here just glad to be done with him. ... I was asked the question yesterday was I cheating on him while I was married ABSOLUTELY NOT! and those friends of mine on twitter...can testify to this as they carried and held me through the whole process...so weird I know...but who am I to tell God what to do...it worked without a lot of tears and totally weird...but hey that's social media for you at it's best. ... so no no no... Mr. Sweet and I hooked up after and God is good as he protected me FAST because it is a JUNGLE out there and I don't do safari well. ...Okay... more here still spreading the word about Bill Zucker the greatest comedian and national wonder listen to his music on the sidebar...Bill is awesome.. and if you aren't following Bill Zucker on facebook please do that and tell Bill I sent you there. ..missing my mom too..I keep trying to visit here and we are like ships in a night.. Family ...I got so much family...and keep finding more..and my friends are so close to me sometimes I can't tell the difference... well my sweet prayer partner Patty Boardman faithful good wife of 30 years...her husband ran off with a 19 year old then had second thoughts..they got divorced this week. ...Too bad for him...She's absolutely gorgeous and thank goodness she lives with her boss and husband... a good protection for her. There is some drama going on with my siblings but prayer does the trick. Oh yes... as God would do it...I was looking for a Baby pool for the duckies and ta da...ran into... a lady and man who are christians and now I have a church home so happy as I don't really know anyone in this area and church is family. The Lord has been answering some secret requests and I am so thankful to him. On another note...I had a couple of people I had to block on the net this week...I absolutely hate doing this... hey your stalkers are usually big fans but when I get people who are just outright abusive and haters I have to protect myself and my followers on the net.. so this was a bit of a downer for me because that is usually the last resort but they refused to stop and even after they knew I shut the door they still did some stuff. Anyway... great week ...I did buy 2 pair of jeans this week... hey to a girl that is always a good day ...right? okay...my blood type is coffee...and I need my fix ...so today I will be in a good day again and hoping to see my momma.. Haa..If this doesn't move your heart..get out the tissues... This girl...was a hooker and somehow in the midst of her life...she began to put her faith in the One true God... She was rescued in the most amazing way... 2 spies came to her door...and she knew they had God ...she turned her back on her country and hid these spies and they not only rescued her...but her heart was so tender she said please when you overtake my city please don't kill my family but rescue them too...and they did. It moves me to think of how she may have prayed and prayed...Lord, you see where I am at...Help me out of this lifestyle. I know now that you are real...not sure of the details but I do hear that one of those spies married her...and also for sure she was the mother of Boaz who married Ruth...and she is in direct line with Jesus the Messiah. Her story is truly great and you can read about it in the Book of Joshua in the Bible...

Okay...gotta say it cuz it just is killing me not to... I have been raised groomed, and developed to be a Christian since Childhood... My Daddy also having done the same taught me well...He taught me not only to know about God but to love him...and guess what...he also taught me to study other religions so I wouldn't be deceived...and YES, Christianity is the truth...being Born again...Alright here goes the mind blowing... It cracks me up and frustrates me at the same time... People watch TV or the news or listen to some stupid comedian making fun of God and they get so brain-washed and can't think for themselves. They only go by what someone told them or saw on a movie... So when they talk to people like me it's like going to school and insisting that the world is made of jello or that arithmetic is a myth... you just sit there and say oh well, no point arguing with this guy. ... So why get on a soap box...Well because want to share the real story ... the real truth is Christianity is more than a little exciting...I got so pumped knowing who I am about to studying "A SPY" yes, God had them too..C'mon He is the SPY OF SPIES... He taught them... Here we see in Joshua chapter 1 the next level of his career as a master Spy. God told him exactly how to do it...and Joshua the Spy did it all and came back from his mission a success. Trust me ...we are talking peoples lives here...You can't be a wimpy guy and be a spy. I love spy novels...and this one is great because it is TRUE....The Ultimate SPOOK! So if you dare... read the Bible for yourself and remember these are real people living real lives. Don't put God in a box...you never know what he is calling you to do.

The Replacement

Reading through the Bible...

The Book of Acts...

Here in Chapter 1 we see that Judas has killed himself and another takes his place as an apostle...

Matthias was now to be the replacement for Judas. ... God knew all along that Judas would need to be replaced. In fact God knew that Matthias would be his replacement.

Going into the book of Psalms we see 109:8 "Let his days be few; and let another take his office"

and Acts 1: 20b "...and his bishoprick let another take". (bishopric -the office of a bishop )

Okay, You are in sales and you need to get through to the owner of the biz, and you just can't break through here are a couple of tips that will help you get through the door.

When phoning ...be real casual ...do your homework find out what the owners first name is and when the receptionist or secretary answers the phone ask real casual but with authority and say Hi is Bob there ... it's all about voice tone , casual talk and authority. When the secretary picks up the phone she won't question and put you right through. Of course sometimes you may end up with a more savy person on the phone and they still may freeze you out but most of the time just the very tone of your voice will put you through so you can speak with the decision maker who you will be able to deliver your pitch to.

Another little trick you will be able to try is this... As a former business owner I used to hate it when people would phone me with a sales pitch in the middle of my busy day when I wanted to work...but I absolutely loved it when a savy salesperson would call me before my day started and I was drinking my coffee and I wasn't officially in work mode and I was actually in a great mood. A old business trick from way back when is to make 25 calls every single morning starting at 730 am to fill your calendar with appts for the week...remember you will never see a salesperson with a full calendar looking for money. So be smart approach if you want to meet the decision maker chances are they got there by being savy themselves and will love that you know this trick.

Unemployment is rampet in the USA ..but here is a fun way to get a great job. Years ago my parents, who own a printing company had a customer come in who ordered a thousand resumes. At the time my parents thought wow that is a lot of applications to fill out, especially since many times people would come in with their eyes bigger than their stomach and they would counsel the customer that they were ordering too many. The customer insisted that he was right and needed that many to get the dream job he wanted. The truth is he did. In the job market you are selling YOURSELF to the interviewer. What makes good sales..Lots of potential customers of course. This guy was no dummy he knew this and made the most of it. As the story goes this guy got the job he wanted. Do your homework while looking for a job after all you may end up there for the next 20 years if you find the right job. A nice thing in this day and age is with the internet and cutting and pasting you can copy ...cut...paste and perhaps even keep these on file on your computer and just send out random applications to potential people who may hire you. Be a little on the edge... Some companies never put up jobs "FOR SALE" on job sites. But you can still send your application to them via email, etc.. And then again some companies ...CONSTANTLY ...Keep their JOBS FOR SALE on the Job sites figuring in a sense THEY ARE BUYING TALENT and will ALWAYS FIND A JOB for those who are extremely talented even if they have to create a job title for them. Which brings me to this too, at times you may want to always have your resume available..YOU can constantly apply for jobs if you don't mind working 2-3 jobs at times as you wouldn't want to lose the great job you did find but still want to learn more skills. Okay, can't resist -- sometimes you may just want to work a job just to get the FREE education which will make your resume look great and hey learning new skills is great. I am not suggested multiple jobs and working 24/7 but for various reasons sometimes you have to and of course we aren't even discussing having your own biz on the side. So looking for a job....? First step send out 1,000 resumes or more..It is a Numbers game and out of 1,000 people or more you are bound to get a job and think of the mastering of doing those interviews just through the process of doing so many as you will become a professional interviewee...which hey..Now you have a new skill and should write a book. Begin your personal job campaign just like a sales campaign you never know where it may lead you.
